The Little Crest provides an environment in which children are free to choose an activity of interest and pursue it.

The Little Crest has created vibrant child-friendly learning areas. These include

- Dress up corner(Theatre& story telling)
- Art & Craft
- Music corner
In addition, The Little Crest centers would have the following learning/play areas:
- Outdoor sandpit area
- Outdoor water play area
- Garden area

For better understanding of what routinely happens at The Little Crest, we would like to present the following:

A child can be fascinated by the bug viewer in our Science corner. Given the child’s short attention span, we expect the child to make multiple stops (possibly on different days!) at the science corner and examine a ‘live bug’ in the bug viewer. Our teachers are trained not to disturb the child while he is busy ‘experiencing’ animal life! However, our teachers might seize the right moment to ‘capture a photograph’ of your child at his studies and use it in the “Leaps & bounds’.

The Little Crest's learning program has been planned and developed by Dr. Vishala. Vishala holds a Ph.D from Mysore University and a Diploma in early childhood education from University of Auckland, New Zealand.

The Little Crest's program has undergone constant refinement during the last 25 years of her path-breaking work with children. Vishala has infused into this program some of the best of breed concepts used internationally but at the same time built on a strong foundation of local Indian values. The result is a curriculum that is based on a deep understanding of contemporary early childhood education integrated with the sensitivities of Indian parenting and early childhood.
